I missed a podcast recording last week. I have issues with the printer. My printer wouldn’t print out properly so I had to buy a cleaning solution and try to clean it. Also, the inks were leaking. Also, I didn’t have anything planned to review. But it gave me some time to read some new BL-licensed manga released on Futekiya.

Last week, Futekiya licensed one of Kotaru Kashima’s titles: The Revolutionary α. I was really looking to reading it. I really like this manga artist’s work since reading “I know You’re Dirty’ Which I have already reviewed on this podcast. Highly recommend reading it too.

I’m so glad Futekiya has The Revolutionary α in their library now. I was hoping there be more titles by Kotaru Kashima available to read on Futekiya in the future.

The Revolutionary α, the drawings are absolutely beautiful. It has a shoujo (old school style feel). The era it set is sort of 17-century, French rococo. The alpha is so demanding. He is very persistent on what he wants. Typically most Omegaveres BL stories are about the Alpha and Omega, but this manga was different paring, it was an Alpha and Beta. The beta is considered the normal kind. They are part of the rest of the population. The alpha in this story does not want to be mating an Omega, he wants to have the choice to mate/fall in love/ bond with. It very interesting connection, I love the drama, the dramatic expression and the bedroom scene are very hot. I was very happy that Futekiya has got the licence to release Revolutionary α on their library. I was interested in reading more of Kotaru Kashima works.

I actually bought Yumemiru Vampire which is another manga that I’m really looking forward to reading because I love BL vampire stories and when I saw the preview online, I was completely hooked.

Chil Chil.net

The website is a really cool community BL website where a user writes reviews, comments and archives manga they read. I start to go on it often for manga reviews and to discover more BL mangas. It also has links to, online store where you can read the manga. The website is in Japanese. You have to use a web translator.
